Women’s Issues

One in four women suffer from mental health issues. It takes strength to ask for help. Some issues experienced by women are gender specific, while others are not.

Discrimination and Sexual Assault
Some of the gender specific issues women face are in navigating a patriarchal society. In the wake of the Me Too movement women are feeling the power of having their story be heard. At the forefront of this movement is the issue of sexual violence, and the de-normalization of injustice. In my practice, I empower women to use their voice and to create a space for themselves in society as human beings and nothing else.

I work with women in healing from traumatic experiences, and in becoming the person they are meant to be. The issues women face need not be faced alone, and they certainly should not be what stands in the way of what you want out of life.

Therapy is a safe space for women to explore, process, and heal.
